Typo3 Web developer internship (3-4 months)
at Armin Haller in Galway, Ireland
DERI is a leading research institute in semantic technologies that offers a stimulating, dynamic and multi-cultural research environment, excellent ties to research-groups and standardisation bodies worldwide, close collaboration with industrial partners and up-to-date infrastructure and resources.
We are seeking a candidate for a summer internship, to further develop our institute’s website which is based on the open source Content Management System TYPO3. Preferably the candidate is an enrolled student. The position is funded and the remuneration is commensurate with the candidate’s experience and her/his status as a student. The internship can also be arranged as an official summer placement as is required for many computer-science curricula.
The Candidate
Applicants should have a strong interest in Web development with the following credentials:
• good knowledge about TYPO3
• min. 3 years of experience with PHP/MYSQL/CSS/JAVASCRIPT
• good English comprehension and writing
• be familiar with Linux
Applicants with the following credentials will be given preference:
• earlier experience in TYPO3 extension development
• good understanding of the TYPO3 API
• knowledge of TYPOSCRIPT
